Safety in Hagalund

Noticing and acting when something happens in the association’s shared areas for example, by knocking on a door and asking if everything is all right can help prevent or stop violence and other crimes.

In BRF Hagalunden, all residents are expected to contribute to a safe and secure environment by taking action when needed. Everyone must help keep an eye on the common spaces.

By keeping entrance doors and other shared spaces such as garages, laundry rooms, bicycle storage rooms, and storage areas locked, we make it harder for thieves and unauthorised persons to gain access. This also reduces the risk of vandalism.

Another way to increase safety is to get to know your neighbours. The more people who stay observant, the safer it becomes! This is the foundation of the Neighbourhood Watch (Grannsamverkan) programme.

If you would like to know more about neighbourhood watch, contact the association’s representative and read more on the Neighbourhood Watch page (opens in a new window).

Always report anything unusual or suspicious that you see to the property caretaker, your neighbourhood watch stair representative, and/or the board, depending on what the matter concerns.

If You Are Concerned About a Crime or Threatening Situation
